Fabrica X's latest initiative, Denim Futures, collaborates with Salvaged, a preloved clothing consignment platform, to promote thrifting and denim lifecycle extension. Through this partnership, the program offers mending workshops to encourage consumers to responsibly extend the use of denim and other products, diverting them from landfills.
By integrating circular production methods with a thriving thrifting culture, this multi-pronged approach aims to comprehensively address the denim industry's environmental impact.

Everyone owns a t-shirt. Whether you have an old shirt you want to breathe new life into or you're looking to create a shirt that truly represents you, we've got you covered. Our workshop focuses on the art of two essential stitches: the boro stitch and darning. With these techniques, explore the art of upcycling, connect with your clothing on a deeper level, and leave with a new wardrobe staple that tells your story. Rest assured that all the t-shirts we provide are made from 100% cotton, locally sourced in Hong Kong, and thoroughly washed before the workshop begins. You can then customize it further with different thread colors, stitches, and labels to make it truly yours. By personalizing these T-shirts, you'll develop a deeper connection to the clothing that accompanies you through life's most sacred moments. Each t-shirt retains its original unique color and print, adding a touch of nostalgia to the finished product.

Thrifting
Salvaged is a preloved clothing consignment platform that promotes thrifting to rehome fashion, making it available at an accessible price point to prevent clothes from ending up in landfills.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  1. Cancellations made after reservation or no show will not receive any refund or transfer.
  2. A full refund (less the administration fee) will only be made if the event is cancelled by The Mills Fabrica or does not take place due to uncontrollable factors, e.g. Prevention and Control of Disease Ordinance, adverse weather.
  3. The Mills Fabrica reserves the right to reschedule the event due to uncontrollable factors, e.g. Prevention and Control of Disease Ordinance, adverse weather. Alternatively, a full refund (less the administration fee) can be made.
  4. In case of any disputes, the decision of The Mills Fabrica shall be final.

Special arrangement for bad weather

  1. If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, or Black Rainstorm Warning is in force from 9:00 am, all workshops that were previously arranged on the day will be cancelled and will be rescheduled or refunded.
