Job Description:

At The Mills Fabrica, we are at the forefront of driving innovation and sustainability within the techstyle and agri-food industries. Our mission is to catalyse a global shift towards a more innovative and resilient industry for the future of our planet.

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Partnership Manager to oversee The Mills Fabrica services portfolio. This includes sustainability workshops, innovation discovery programmes, innovation scouting, event partnerships, and curated showcases of groundbreaking innovators. The ideal candidate is a creative and entrepreneurial professional with the ability to navigate complex environments, engage diverse stakeholders, and deliver both strategic impact and commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnerships & Sponsorship Sales

  • Develop and manage partnerships with key stakeholders, including brands, startups, investors, and NGOs, to advance sustainable and impact-driven initiatives.
  • Identify, pitch, and close sponsorship opportunities for programmes, workshops, and initiatives, ensuring alignment with sponsor goals and organisational impact objectives.
  • Build and nurture relationships with C-level stakeholders, fostering long-term collaboration and engagement.

Programme Design & Commercial Sales

  • Design, plan, and execute workshops, programmes, and impact initiatives to support innovation in sustainable fashion and agri-food industries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (investment, marketing and events) to ensure programmes meet commercial, educational, and impact goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate programme impact, adapting strategies to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Identify and sell tailored services to stakeholders, such as innovator scouting support to drive revenue and impact.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to develop value propositions and packages that meet client needs.

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Craft compelling pitches, presentations, and proposals to engage and secure partnerships and sponsorships.
  • Navigate startup and corporate environments with agility, leveraging strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and drive results.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience

  • Proven track record in partnership management and sponsorship sales ideally in sustainability, fashion, or innovation ecosystems.
  • Experience designing and delivering workshops, programmes, or events that drive impact and innovation.
  • Strong understanding of sustainable fashion, circularity principles, and impact-driven business models.
  • Background in commercial sales of services, with a focus on creating mutually beneficial solutions.

Skills

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to scout and evaluate startups or innovations, with an understanding of the challenges faced by entrepreneurs.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, sustainability, fashion, or innovation). Advanced degrees or certifications in sustainability or related disciplines are a plus.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in partnership management, sponsorship sales, or a related
    role.
