Job title: Membership Assistant

Location: King’s Cross, London

The Role:

You will join the Membership department as the Membership Assistant helping to oversee the coworking space operations, continue to build the community and enhance the overall membership experience. This is an exciting role where you will work across departments and report into the Membership Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Coworking Space Operations:

  • Handle membership inbound enquiries and assist with the onboarding process for new members, as well as transfers and cancellations.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for members and visitors, managing in-person, phone, and email communications.
  • Coordinate with facilities management, security, and contractors to ensure coworking spaces are well-maintained and operating efficiently.
  • Ensure members pantry is fully stocked and other amenities are well-maintained
  • Maintain and update membership systems and databases.

Membership Management:

  • Gather and relay member feedback, continuously working to improve their experience and ensure they benefit fully from the space.
  • Assist in organizing and executing membership-focused events, enhancing member perks, and fostering connections among members.
  • Help manage the events venue and meeting room bookings, processing all enquiries and overseeing the booking process.
  • Support tours of the coworking space, promoting various membership types, event spaces, and amenities.

*Due to the nature of this role, hybrid working is not available, and some flexibility is expected outside core working hours of 9am – 6pm for events.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in coworking spaces (preferred).
  • Experience in customer-oriented roles and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Experience in office management or administration.
  • Basic sales experience and an understanding of driving revenue in a membership model-centric company.
  • Quick-thinking, solutions-driven attitude.
  • Passionate about sustainability and innovation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with systems such as Nexudus, Brivo, and Airtable is an advantage.
